Website hosting is one of the most important aspects of making money online. Think about it. If your website is down, how can you earn any money? Reliability and support are very important. Don’t shop for a hosting company based on price. You usually get what you pay for. If it’s really cheap, there’s a very good reason. Try to get a recommendation from some webmasters. Also look at the features of the various hosting packages and how much upgrades will cost. Don’t limit yourself. You never know when you’ll need to upgrade bandwidth or disk space. There are thousands of hosting companies out there. I like 2 web hosting companies, MidPhase and Host Gator.
Here are my personal recommendations for hosting, MidPhase.com and Host Gator. I have been using Midphase for over 3 years and Host Gator for 2. They’re hosting packages are extensive and very reasonable, starting at $7.95 per month. Here’s the real sell; they both has Excellent Tech Support and 99.9% up time. I think I have submitted 4 or 5 support tickets in the 3 years with Midphase. Midphase support usually responds in an hour of so and never longer than 24 hours. I have heard of people not getting a response from their hosting tech support people for a week. That’s not good. My blogs have never been down outside of scheduled maintenance. I think Host Gator and MidPhase.com is some of the best hosting available.
My hosting package is the Pro-Phase package. Here is what it includes:
- 400 GB Disk Space
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- Reliable Linux Servers
- Unlimited Domain Names
- 1 Free Domain for Life
- and Much More
