If you are an eBay seller or want to be an eBay seller, you should watch the market for what is Hot and what is Not. As an eBay seller it is very important to watch eBay trends over time and get to know what items are popular and at what times of the year. When I was an eBay Power Seller, I used to watch the market for my products very closely.  I knew when other sellers posted a large number of items similar to mine. I would wait until they were almost expired before i would list mine. I did not want to compete against them in the same time period. I would also take note of which items sold and for how much. This gives you a “pulse” of the market. I also new which days were best to end an auction and which days not to end an auction. You would be surprised at the difference it makes. You do not want to list your items on just any day. You really need to now the in’s and out’s of eBay to increase your sales and top the competition. If you do this, you will succeed on eBay. There are thousands of sellers who are doing very well on eBay.
