There are thousands of people making a living selling products on eBay. eBay is a great market place for buyers and sellers to meet and do business. eBay has exploded in the past 5 years or so. I read many stories of people that were becoming wealthy selling on eBay. I was a Power Seller on eBay a few years ago. A Power Seller is an eBay seller that sells $1,000 or more per month for 3 consecutive months. I made it to a Power Seller in about 6 months or so. If you have a product with good demand and limited supply, you can do very well. I did. I had some unique female wrestling DVD’s that sold very well. I bought from the producer in the UK for $10 each and sold them for $40.
eBay is a great community that enables anyone to sell any product to eBay’s audience which is in the millions. eBay is huge! You can setup an account easily and start selling in no time at all. It’s very easy. The hard part is finding a product that will sell with a descent profit. A good product maybe one that you make yourself. It would be totally unique and virtually have no competition. Start thinking now!
eBay has a whole community to help sellers. You can find out what items are searched most often on eBay. There is an eBay forum and eBay University. eBay sellers have conventions each year to get together and share ideas and meet other eBay sellers. eBay is a great community that enables small businesses and entrepreneurs to get started in the online world. If you are wanting to start your own business, check out what eBay has to offer. eBay can help you sell online without having your own online store. This is a big deal. Having your own online store is a somewhat complicated ordeal if you are not tech savvy. eBay makes it easy.
eBay is an all in one online store. It allows you to sell products online to eBay’s huge user base and handles the online payment transaction. eBay purchased Paypal a while back and uses Paypal to handle the payment transactions transparently. A user clicks on Buy It Now or has the winning bid on your product, then clicks on the checkout button, enters their Paypal account info and they’re done. The payment is automatically deposited in your Paypal account. It’s really slick. I have bought and sold on eBay for over 7 years.
Here is just one example of what can be done on eBay. I bought some gold bars (10 gram) on eBay 5 years ago when gold was $350 per once. I sold all of my gold on July 14, 2008 when gold was $960 per once. I invested $5,000 and now I have $13,500. I doubled my money in less than 5 years. eBay has many possibilities. Here is another eBay secret. When the Xbox 360 came out in November of 2005 it was retailing for around $400. It was selling on eBay for up to $1,000. No joke. I saw the auctions and they sold too. The secret is to watch for new products that will be a hit. Buy them when they first come out and then list them on eBay. You could make some cash really quick. You see some people in small towns do not have stores that carry these products so they look online to buy them and they are willing to pay more to get them.
