Top WordPress Plugins To Earn Money Online

There are thousands of WordPress plug-ins but which ones are necessary? I tend not to go overboard with WordPress plug-ins but some of them are a must if you want to earn money online with blogs. I don’t want to slow down my blogs with tons of plug-ins and so I choose them carefully. I only want to install ones that will fill a need and help my blogs earn money, anything else..I don’t need. I use 6 WordPress Plug-ins on my blogs.
Adsense Deluxe
Adsense Deluxe is essential only if you want to use Google Adsense to earn money. Adsense Deluxe allows you to insert the Adsense code into any blog post or blog page and in any position too. All that you have to do is insert this HTML code into your blog post or page <!–adsense–>. This will insert the default Adsense ads block into the blog post or page in the exact position of the code. You can also configure several different Adsense Ad blocks and insert them by using a different code such as <!–adsense2–> or <!–adsense_banner–>. This will insert its designated ad according to the configuration in Adsense Deluxe. Inserting Adsense ads in the body of a blog post does 2 great things for you.
First off it guarantees that the Adsense ads will be relevant to the text because the ad is adjacent (next) to the text. This is the best way to get relevant ads from Adsense. And second, it places the ads right in front of the reader and almost guarantees that it will be seen and read and probably clicked. This position has been proven by Google to be the highest clicked position.
I highly recommend Adsense Deluxe for any blogger wishing to earn money with his/her blog. It works very well and is simple to install and use.
Akismet
Akismet is a WordPress plug-in that filters Spam comments and trackbacks. No blog should be without it. It sure does work well. Keep this one updated to keep your blog SPAM free.
All in One SEO
The All in One SEO plug-in enables you to turn your blog into a SEO machine. It addresses “on-page SEO” in the following areas:
Titles: The text in the browser’s window bar is ultra important and the post titles should appear before anything else. Use your keywords in the Titles!!
Descriptions: Your description is what will make the surfer click on your link. Make sure it is optimized for this purpose. Use good keywords here and sell!! You want every surfer that sees your link to click on it.
Keywords: The All in One SEO pack can generate keywords from your categories or from WordPress 2.3’s tagging system.
The All in One SEO plug-in is easy to install and use. It really makes blog SEO almost automatic.
cforms II
cforms II is a contact form plug-in. This enables your readers to contact you via email. This is important to maintain interaction with your readers. Readers like being able to contact a blog author and getting answers. It’s good Karma. This plug-in is also super easy to install and configure. You just upload, activate, configure fields, create contact page and insert code. That’s it!
Google XML Sitemaps
The all important Google XML Sitemaps plug-in. If you value Google traffic then you must have a sitemap. Sitemaps show the Google bot the layout or map of your website with all of your webpages. This guarantees that Google will index every page of your website. This is very important. I have had blogs with only 50% of the pages indexed by Google. I didn’t know why either. Now that I have Google XML Sitemaps, every single page is indexed all the time. A must have plugin. It’s another simple install, just upload and activate.
WordPress Automatic Upgrade
The WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin is not necessary at all but it sure does make upgrading wordPress a snap. It is important to keep WordPress updated in order to keep hackers out though. I love this plug-in.
WordPress Affiliate Pro is a must have for anyone selling affiliate products on your blog. This plug-in does several things for you. Here are the features of WordPress Affiliate Pro plug-in:
- Stores all of your affiliate links
- Automatically creates hyperlinks for any keywords
- Hides your affiliate account info from readers
- Tracks statistics for your affiliate links
I love this plug-in!! The ability to create affiliate hyperlinks automatically based on any keywords is awesome and then being able to track the link stats. Storing the affiliate links is also a must have.
Related Posts
Another great plug-in is a “Related Post” plug-in. This inserts a list of “Related Posts” after each blog post. This tends to keep readers on your blog longer which can earn money. I have not found what I’m looking for in a Related Post plug-in yet.

Thanks for the info on adsense deluxe. I was looking for a plugin to help with a parked domain and that will really help.
