Search engines will bring traffic to your blog but you can always use more. Article Directories can bring some good traffic to your blog. You will also benefit from the incoming links. That is, other website linking to your blog. This accomplishes 2 things. One, it makes your blog appear more important to the search engines and therefore ranks you higher in the search results. This will get you more traffic. Second, it brings traffic directly to your blog. More traffic means you will earn more money.
Article Directories are huge web libraries of articles written by hundreds of authors. There are articles about everything from dogs to business to celebrities. You name it, there are articles about it. People visit these article directories for several reasons. They may just want to read for their own enjoyment or learn how to do something. Some use the articles on their own website as content. This is what you want to happen to your articles. You want other website owners to use your article on their website because it will have a link to your blog and bring traffic.
Here is how it works. You write an article as if you were going to post it on your blog. Instead of posting it on your blog, you submit it to several article directories. They accept your article and then list it on the article directory. Do this as much as you can. Try to submit 20, 50 or 100 articles. The more you submit the more traffic and incoming links you will get. As website owners start to use your articles, you will see your traffic grow. Read this note carefully and do not forget it. Do Not Submit an article to a directory and also use it on your blog. Duplicate content is a big Taboo as far as search engines are concerned. Avoid this at all costs.
